Known for featuring the finest in classical music, jazz, dance, film, authors and art - the 10th Annual Festival of the Arts Co-Founded by Wendy Larsen and Charlie Siemon, started last Friday in Boca Raton at the Mizner Park Amphitheater. CBS 12's News AnchorMichele Wright was the Emcee closing night, Wednesday March 16th. Working with Festival director Joanna Kaye& husband Jeff Kaye, Michele also introduced Grammy Award-winning violinist Joshua Bell.

Presented by The Schmidt Family Centre of the Arts, the Festival will be at the Mizner Park Amphitheaterfrom March 4th-16th.

Considered by critics to be "an important and impressive addition to the artistic landscape," the Festival is celebrating it's 10th Anniversary. CBS 12 is a proud media sponsor.

Since 2007, the Festival has offered visitors of all ages a chance to celebrate the arts and be exposed to new art forms at their highest level. It was designed to promote culture and to enrich the quality of life of the residents in Boca Raton, North Broward and Palm Beach County.

This year, the week long event kicks off with a showing of Raiders of the Lost Ark with the movie's music performed by a live orchestra.

Throughout the week, the Festival will feature notable guests like Journalist, Author, Washington Post columnist and host of CNN's GPS - Fareed Zakaria - who will be at Mizner Park to speak on 'The Next Security Crisis.'

For the first time, opera will be performed this year at the Festival of the Arts! You can see Mozart's timeless masterpiece The Magic Flute, which is the second-most performed opera in the world.

And to close the cultural experience, Violin Superstar and Conductor Joshua Bell will perform 'Vivaldi's Four Seasons' alongside the Lynn Philharmonia Orchestra.
