1. StoryFest, Sunday, 10 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Kids will enjoy magical tales told through music, theater shows and storytelling. There will be face painting, art activities and a chance to meet storybook characters. 2. Dino Train to Expedition: Dinosaur, Saturday & Sunday

Brightline is your official envoy to and from the exhibit “Expedition: Dinosaur” at the Museum of Discovery & Science. On your way to the museum, meet a dinosaur handler and a baby dinosaur on board. Once at the museum, put yourself in the shoes of paleontologists and archaeologists to discover how fossils are excavated, meet lifelike animatronic dinosaurs through leading-edge technology and learn how dinosaurs survived in prehistoric times. 3. Family Fun: Friendship Purikura, Saturday, Noon

Purikura is a Japanese photo booth, where friends take customizable photos with many types of effects. Get photos taken and decorate your postcard-sized purikurato take home. $9-$15. 4. Sea Turtle Day Festival, Saturday, 9 a.m. – 4 p.m.

Attend sessions throughout the day with nature talks and activities, enjoy live music, meet environmentally focused exhibitors, take a guided tour of the butterfly garden, watch a play by Sol Children Theater, meet Sea Turtle Ambassador Luna, paint using recycled materials, enjoy food trucks and more. 5. StoryBook Village, Sunday, 1 – 4 p.m.

Children will enjoy snow cones, face painting, balloons and more. This year’s theme is “What I Want to be When I Grow Up!” Visit booths to find storybooks related to the theme. 6. Dr. Seuss’ Extravaganza, Saturday and Sunday, 11 a.m. – 5 p.m.

Hop on Pop and celebrate Dr. Seuss’ 116th birthday. Enjoy original stage performances, create Truffula trees the art studio, and play Seuss-themed sensory bins. $15-$22. 7. Biscayne National Park’s Family Fun Fest, Saturday, 1 – 4 p.m.

Some of your favorite children’s tales brought to life, with a twist. See what Snow White, Rip Van Winkle, and The Fox and the Hound have been up to at Biscayne. 8. Asian Culture Festival, Saturday and Sunday, 10 a.m. – 5 p.m.

9. Daddy Daughter STEM Night, Friday, 5:30 – 8:30 p.m.

Dads and daughters will enjoy and evening of interactive science, engineering and technology-based stations. Explore exhibits after dark, enjoy a laser light show and have fun during a daddy-daughter dance off. $15. Cost includes pizza dinner, laser show and all activities. Registration required. 10. “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” Live With Orchestra, Sunday, 2:30 p.m. and 7 p.m.

Watch “Star Wars: The Empire Strikes Back” with the score played live by a full symphony orchestra. Luke Skywalker, now a seasoned space warrior, begins his jedi training with legendary Jedi master Yoda, and he ultimately must face a life-changing revelation that affects his destiny. $49-$99. 11. Thin Mint Sprint, Saturday (Palm Beach) and Sunday (Sunday), 6:30 – 9:30 a.m.

Run or walk this chip-timed 5K and receive a finisher medal and a free box of Girl Scout Thin Mint cookies. There will also be a non-timed Tagalong Trot 100-yard dash for kids 8 years old and younger. $30. The race will be taking place in two South Florida Locations: Okeeheelee Park in West Palm Beach and Tradewinds Park in Coconut Creek. For more information, visit runsignup.com.

12. Light Your Bike Night, Friday, 7 – 9 p.m.

Enjoy a glow bike ride at the park with the entire family. Be bright, be seen and get your “glow on” as you deck yourself and your bikes with lights and glow-in-the-dark accessories.
