Natasha Arellano was born in Guayaquil, Ecuador, and began her dance training at EPTEA Dance School under the guidance of Gloria and Aglae Febres Cordero. She started ballet at the age of two and flamenco at four, later expanding her training with contemporary dancers Omar Aguirre and Jennifer Cabezas, jazz dancer María Alejandra Daza, and ballet dancers Ada González, Odalmis González, and Irina Pesantes.

For the first 18 years of her life, she trained and performed with EPTEA Dance School on both conventional and unconventional stages, gaining hands-on experience in artistic expression, creation, and production under the mentorship of various teachers. Over the years, she had the opportunity to travel to Spain to further her flamenco and bolero training with renowned dancers such as Ángel Atienza, Rosa Zaragoza, Concha Jareño, Merche Esmeralda, Rubén Olmos, and Cinthia Cano.

From the age of 19 to 23, she worked as a dancer, répétiteur, and choreographer with ESPOL University's Neoclassical Ballet group under the direction of Patricia Logroño, exploring lyrical, modern, contemporary, and jazz styles. Additionally, she gained experience as a dramaturg, collaborating on short dance films with ESPOL’s Neoclassical Ballet and Folklore groups.

From 2019 to 2023, she worked as a dancer and production assistant with Peña Flamenca Rafael Aguilar, specializing in flamenco. She also collaborated with EPTEA Dance Company as a dancer, choreographer, and production assistant, gaining experience in research for artistic creation—integrating research, socialization, and staging—through flamenco, poetry, and contemporary dance as fluid artistic languages.

Alongside my dance career, she has pursued undergraduate studies in Archaeology at ESPOL University and is currently completing a master’s program in Anthropology at Florida Atlantic University, where she continues to engage with the university’s dance community.
