December 5, 2017 | Brian

The 12th Annual Festival of the Arts BOCA is as eclectic as they come with a program of über talented performers and accomplished speakers. One such talent is James Marshall, Emmy nominated filmmaker who is the ultimate contemporary adventurer spreading happy vibes wherever he goes.

Although we have to wait until March 3 to hear James speak on his take on America and the perception gap, here are 5 fun and interesting facts about this passion-driven trailblazer, straight from the source.

  1. I had to ride an Indian Motorcycle 5,000 Miles while filming The American Dream Project (Netflix) and only learnt to ride a motorcycle 3 weeks before filming.
  2. I was the first person to ride a "new" Indian Scout motorcycle from NY to LA in over 60 years.
  3. For both The American Dream Project and American Doers, I only used female Directors.
  4. I’m single ladies!
  5. I once ran 6 marathons in 5 days through the Sahara Desert (Marathon Des Sables), while carrying all of my own food, camping gear and emergency supplies.

You won't want to miss seeing James!
