Music from the Twenties

Co-Presented by Festival of the Arts BOCA and
Boca Raton Historical Society &
The Schmidt Boca Raton History Museum

Florida in the 1920s was like the Klondike Gold Rush—but the gold was in the sands of Florida’s beaches. People from all over the country rushed to invest in the most iconic of the boom-era projects—Addison Mizner’s “Boca Raton.”

Music by Fats Waller, Gerorge Gershwin, and Irving Berlin.  Plus Makin' Whoopee and a song that was written about Boca Raton!

Featuring Krescendo Jazz.
