The 1960s were truly the decade of change for the little-farm-town-with-a-fancy-resort, Boca Raton. FAU and Marymount (now Lynn University) opened and we finally got our own high school. The Boca Raton Community Hospital was born and a company called IBM came to Boca to manufacture small, main-fame computers.
Jeff Kaye and Krescendo will play music that was made famous in the 1960s by such artists as Frank Sinatra, Dean Martin, Barbara Streisand and Liza Minneli. Vocalists will be Bill Stafford and Joanna Marie.
Tickets will be $40 for Historical Society members and $45 for non-members.
