Joanna is a well-known figure in South Florida’s arts scene.
Since 2014 she has played a pivotal role in the evolution of Festival of the Arts Boca, overseeing everything from the programming process to educational outreach and donor relations. During the challenging days of the pandemic, her leadership and passion helped keep the Festival on a successful path to growth, earning the 2021 award from the Florida Festivals and Events Association for Florida’s Best Hybrid Event.
Before joining the Festival staff, Joanna worked in public broadcasting, serving as managing director of WQED FM in Pittsburgh, and Radio Manager at WXEL in Palm Beach County, where she hosted the popular radio program Classical Variations. A talented vocalist, Joanna juggles a performance career with her Festival Boca duties.
