We are excited to announce the winners of the Festival of the Arts Boca Music Competition. Congratulations to all the winners! We will be hosting a special pre-Festival Winners Concert on March 4 at 7 pm.
FIRST PLACE:
Annabella Paolucci ~ she will be 18 next month, attends Dreyfoos School of the Arts, and studies with Huifang Chen. She played Violin Concerto No. 5 by Henri Vieuxtemps.
Julianna Bramble ~ a 17 year old violist, who also attends Dreyfoos School of the Arts and studies with Michael Klotz. She played pieces by Bach & Brahms.
SECOND PLACE:
Gabe Rodriguez ~ a 13 year old cellist. He attends North Broward Prep and studies with Trace Johnson. He played 2 movements from the Bach Cello Suite No. 1
Leonardo Rincon ~ 15 years old, he attends the Dreyfoos School of the Arts and studies with Antonio Rincon. He Played the Saint Saens Violin Concerto No. 3
THIRD PLACE:
Elena Lim ~ an 17 year old Violinist at the American Heritage School who studies with Huifang Chen. She played the Tchaikovsky Violin Concerto.
David Xiao ~ will be 15 next month. He attends the American Heritage School and studies with Huifang Chen. He played the Bruch Violin Concerto.
HONORABLE MENTION:
Angela Dietz ~ Violinist Angela Dietz will be 6 years old in May. She attends American Heritage School and studies with Tina Raimondi.
Roshan Mohip ~ Is an 11-year-old cellist. He goes to Pinecrest School and studies with Martha Schimelpfenig.
